Toronto’s first Chinese and English Story King Contest is initiated and hosted by Canada’s Little Elephant International Company, title sponsored by Skyview Windows and Doors.  The event sponsors are Mo Stone Construction, Tomato Mall, Micang Medical, Fotile Kitchenware, Color Medical Aesthetics, Toronto Chinese Media Workers Association, Toronto Zoo, Focus One Motion Studio, Canada Performing Artists Network, and other business organizations. 

The theme of the story contest: environmental protection, animal protection, and pollution prevention.  
The final contest will be held at Toronto York Woods Theatre on
May 17, 2024.   The age requirement for contest registrants is 6 to 15.  The contest is set up with four categories: Chinese story writing, English story writing, Chinese storytelling, English storytelling.


Story writing contest requirement: 1,000 to 2,000 words
Storytelling contest requirement: 5 minutes 
Online Registration: From now until
April 6 (deadline) 
Training time:
Online opening ceremony on April 7th.   There will be 4 online classes and one offline selection and rehearsal. 


Winners: 8 winners from each contest category.  Total 32 winners will receive certificates and prizes.  

Every winner will receive a certificate of the U.N. Peace Ambassadors Foundation Award.

 

The Story King will be selected at the final contest on May 17, 2024.  The Story King (Champion) from each category will be awarded a cash prize.
